The Elise Marie Academy of Performing Arts is an inclusive dance school based in Mayford, Surrey (between Guildford and Woking), dedicated to providing an opportunity for everyone who would like to discover their potential in Dance. EMA offers classes in Melody Movement, Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre and Conditioning to students of all abilities from two and a half years upwards. We extend a warm welcome to students with learning differences and integrate wherever possible. Principal Elise Byng and her team provide high quality training in a fun and friendly environment.
SUMMER TERM 2013 – Term Dates (12 Weeks)
Weds 17th April – Thurs 23rd May
HALF TERM
Weds 5th June – Sat 2oth July
Variations to dates/venues:
- Jacobs Well classes on Saturdays will be held in the Scout Hut with the following exceptions:
- 20th April, 15th June, 29th June & 20th July – classes will be held at Stoughton Infant School
- On Saturday 18th May there will be no classes at Jacobs Well (9.30am-2pm). All other classes on as normal
- No classes on Thursday 20th June
- No classes on Wednesday 26th June
- On Saturday 13th July there will be no afternoon classes (2-6pm). All other classes on as normal
SPRING TERM 2013 – Term Dates (11 Weeks)
Fri 4th January – Sat 16th February
HALF TERM
Tues 26th February – Thurs 28th March
Variations to dates/venues:
- Jacobs Well classes on Saturdays will be held in the Scout Hut with the following exceptions:
- 19th January, 16th February & 16th March – classes will be held at Stoughton Infant School
- There will be no Intermediate Modern or Adult Ballet classes on Thursday 10th January. These classes will be credited
- JACOBS WELL CLASSES CANCELLED SATURDAY 19TH JANUARY DUE TO SNOW. ALL OTHER CLASSES STILL RUNNING
- No Saturday afternoon classes (2-6pm) on Saturday 16th March. These classes will be credited
AUTUMN TERM 2012 – Term Dates (15 Weeks)
Sat 1st September – Sat 27th October
HALF TERM
Mon 5th November – Sat 22nd December
Variations to dates/venues:
- There will be no classes on Sat 15th September due to the Awards Evening event
- Afternoon classes on Saturday 8th September will be in Studio 2
- Morning classes in Woking only will not take place on Sat 27th Oct and will be replaced on Sat 3rd Nov. All other Saturday classes will take place 27th Oct as normal
- There will be no afternoon classes on Saturdays 10th & 17th November. These classes will be credited
- There will be no Intermediate Modern or Adult Ballet classes on Thursdays 22nd November & 20th December. These classes will be credited
- Jacobs Well classes on Saturdays will be held in the Scout Hut with the following exceptions:
- 1st September will be at First Dance Studios – 9.30-10.30am in Studio 3 and 10.30am onwards in Studio 1
- 22nd September, 20th October & 17th November will be at Stoughton Infant School
- 15th December will be in the hall at Jacobs Well
