The Elise Marie Academy of Performing Arts is an inclusive dance school based in Mayford, Surrey (between Guildford and Woking), dedicated to providing an opportunity for everyone who would like to discover their potential in Dance. EMA offers classes in Melody Movement, Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre and Conditioning to students of all abilities from two and a half years upwards. We extend a warm welcome to students with learning differences and integrate wherever possible. Principal Elise Byng and her team provide high quality training in a fun and friendly environment.
SUMMER TERM 2012 – Term Dates (12 Weeks)
Mon 16th April – Sat 2nd June
HALF TERM
Sat 9th June – Mon 16th July
Variations to dates/venues:
- Classes cannot take place at The Maybury Centre in Woking and at First Dance Studios in Mayford on Saturday 21st April. We are not able to replace these classes so they will be credited instead. Classes at Jacobs Well will take place as normal on Saturday 21st April (but at a different venue).
- Jacobs Well classes will be in the Scout Hut every week in the Summer Term except 21st April and 16th June when they will be at the Children’s Centre on Hazel Avenue.
- Conditioning is cancelled on Wednesday 25th April (so we can watch Olivia in The King & I).
- Conditioning, Performance Groups and MT/Drama classes are cancelled on Saturday 28th April (due to festival entries). We are not able to replace these classes so they will be credited instead.
- There will be no classes on Bank Holiday Monday 7th May.
- Classes cannot take place at Jacobs Well and at First Dance Studios in Mayford on Saturday 19th May. Jacobs Well classes will be replaced on Saturday 9th June instead. We are not able to replace the First Dance classes so they will be credited instead. Classes at The Maybury Centre in Woking will take place as normal on Saturday 19th May (but Natalie will be teaching).
